EquipHotel 2026: book your private tour of the Abside capsule

From November 2 to 5, 2026, Maison A&G will participate in EquipHotel Paris as part of the “Do Not Disturb – In Praise of Intimacy” carte blanche. On this occasion, we are presenting Abside, a capsule collection that explores the role of privacy in the hospitality industry and how interior architecture can adapt to different uses, structure a visitor’s journey, and transform the perception of a small space.

We are offering industry professionals 15-minute private tours, led by a member of our team, to explore the project, understand the design process, and learn about the choices that shape it.

Abside: designing space based on these uses

How can interior architecture create the conditions for a more personal experience in a hotel space?

With Abside, we chose to address this question through the design of the “capsule.” It takes the form of a sanctuary-like room, organized around a journey that gradually guides the visitor toward a more enveloping environment. Shapes, proportions, and transitions structure this progression, while the light evolves to transform the perception of the space.

Each element fits into an overarching design logic. The goal is not to start with aesthetics or to pile on visual effects, but to design a coherent environment in which every choice contributes to the experience.

An immersive tour at the heart of the project

The private tour allows you to discover Abside beyond its outward appearance and to understand its design principles.

For 15 minutes, a member of the Maison A&G team will guide you through the capsule to discuss the project in all its dimensions:

  • Spatial organization
  • Use of light
  • Choice of materials and details
  • Integration of technology
  • Contribution of artisanal craftsmanship

And beyond exploring the capsule, this time together also provides an opportunity to discuss with you the approach to interior architecture in the hospitality sector and how it balances functionality, technical precision, and the quality of the experience.

EPV Label: French craftsmanship at the service of the project

To design the capsule collection, we chose to collaborate with partner companies certified under the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label, recognized for the quality of their craftsmanship and mastery of exceptional techniques. As an ambassador for the EPV label, it therefore seemed natural to us to call upon these houses of excellence.

Their expertise, the precision of their work, and their commitment to preserving rare craftsmanship fully contribute to Abside’s identity. Thus, stained glass, crafted glass, textiles, woodworking, and custom-made furniture all come together to form the overall composition.
