From 2 to 5 November 2026, Maison A&G will take part in EquipHotel Paris, the leading international trade show dedicated to the hotel and hospitality industry. Held at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, the event brings together the sector’s key players every two years to explore the latest trends, innovations and expertise shaping the future of hospitality.
For the 2026 edition, our studio is honoured to have been selected to design one of the four installations featured in the exhibition “Do Not Disturb, Éloge de l’intime”, presented within the Exclusive Collection by EquipHotel.
This selection marks a new milestone for Maison A&G in the field of hotel interior architecture and further reflects our approach, rooted in understanding each space, carefully considering its uses, selecting materials with precision and overseeing every stage of the project.
Recognition of our approach to interior architecture
Created in partnership with the Réseau Excellence des Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) and the Mobilier national, the exhibition Do Not Disturb, Éloge de l’intime gives four designers carte blanche to imagine new ways of designing private spaces within hospitality environments. Bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges and secluded areas are reimagined with particular attention paid to function, proportions, light and materials.
This approach closely reflects Maison A&G’s own philosophy.
For several years, the studio has been designing and managing architectural and interior architecture projects by considering each space as a whole. Volumes, circulation, materials and details are conceived together to create a coherent, enduring response tailored to each project.
Abside: a capsule designed around intimacy
For its 2026 edition, EquipHotel explores the theme of “plural hospitality”. At the heart of this reflection, the Do Not Disturb exhibition considers a new definition of luxury — one centred on calm, personalisation, emotion and restoration.
The project begins with a simple question: how can a hotel room be designed to truly allow guests to slow down and step away from the pace of the outside world?
In response, Maison A&G will present Abside, a hotel room conceived as a truly sensory experience.
Abside offers a more intimate interpretation of hospitality. The space is conceived as a journey, where volumes, light, materials and furniture gradually guide visitors into an enveloping atmosphere. Our ambition is to allow visitors to slow down, reconnect with themselves and experience a genuine sense of calm as they move through the space.
Every element contributes to this intention: creating a peaceful, coherent environment where the experience relies less on accumulation and more on the precision and relevance of each choice.
French craftsmanship at the heart of the project
This capsule also provides an opportunity to showcase several renowned French companies celebrated for the excellence of their craftsmanship. Maison A&G has brought together a selection of companies and artisans whose expertise will contribute to the design and creation of the space, including:
- Horus – Tapware
- Balsan – Flooring
- Roger Pradier – Lighting
- Joly Design – Furniture
- Kermarec – Bespoke joinery
- Marius Aurenti – Polished concrete
- Lit National – Bedding
- Le Jacquard Français – Household linen
- La Compagnie Dumas – Textile craftsmanship
- La Maison du Vitrail – Stained glass
Collaboration between architects, designers, craftspeople and manufacturers is essential to the successful delivery of interior architecture projects today. It allows the original design intent to be carried through to the finest details, ensuring continuity between concept and execution.
Several of these partners are also members of the Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) network, a French distinction recognising companies for the excellence of their craftsmanship and technical expertise.
Rethinking the hospitality experience
Today, travellers’ expectations are evolving. Beyond comfort, they are looking for places that evoke emotion, tell a story and offer a genuine escape from everyday life.
At Maison A&G, we believe that interior architecture plays an essential role in shaping this experience. The hotel room has become a destination in its own right. It must meet the needs of today’s traveller while offering an experience that is unique to its setting. The aim is therefore to strike a balance between function, comfort, identity and coherence.
With Abside, Maison A&G explores the relationship between interior architecture and hospitality through a deliberately more intimate space, where every element has its place within the overall composition. In this way, the capsule reflects our vision of contemporary hospitality: more human, more sensory and deeply focused on wellbeing.
We will be at EquipHotel Paris from 2 to 5 November 2026 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, where our capsule will be presented within the Exclusive Collection area.
We look forward to unveiling this project, the result of several months of thought, design and collaboration with exceptional partners.
