Just steps from the Luxembourg Gardens, this 38 m² apartment has been completely redesigned to become an elegant and functional Parisian base. Designed for a client living in the South of France, the project aimed to optimize space while offering both comfort and refinement, creating a home suited to business stays as well as moments of relaxation.

From the entrance, the tone is set by a play of contrasts between dark and light shades that rhythm the entire project. Wrapped in a deep black, it highlights the brightness of the living spaces it leads to. A true functional passageway, the entrance features bespoke storage – a Saint Laurent stone niche, wardrobe, laundry area, and an ÉLITIS fabric bench with built-in storage – combining aesthetics and practicality.

Following the chevron pattern of the herringbone parquet, natural light guides the eye toward the living area, the heart of the project. Born from the fusion of two former rooms, this open space harmoniously brings together the kitchen, living room, and dining area.

The kitchen, with its rounded lines and asymmetrical layout, stands out through its Perla Santy quartzite countertop and backsplash, dark wood shelving, and gunmetal fixtures. Conceived as a natural extension of the living room, it blends seamlessly into the space while adding both character and balance.

In the living area, the soft tones of the custom TV unit and its dark wood–framed niche, extended by two large decorative shelves, echo the kitchen opposite. The restored fireplace, positioned at the center of the composition, becomes the axis of symmetry around which the living room unfolds a convivial and soothing space. A built-in foldaway bed concealed within custom cabinetry transforms the room into a guest bedroom without compromising comfort or aesthetics.

The bedroom, a true cocoon, embraces soft beige tones and features a custom ÉLITIS fabric headboard. Here, contrasts give way to a serene atmosphere, punctuated by brushed-brass details that subtly echo the fixtures of the adjoining bathroom. The latter combines beige polished concrete, travertine, and brass finishes in a calm, mineral ambiance, with integrated storage uniting elegance and functionality.
