Apartment 140 m2
Paris, march 2025
Just a stone’s throw from the Pont de Bir-Hakeim, this 140 m² Haussmann-style apartment blends elegance and simplicity. Designed for a man and his son, it plays with contrasts of black, white, and walnut, adding depth and character.
The living area opens onto a combined living and dining room. A custom walnut bookcase structures the living space, while a matching console enhances the dining area. Two large mirrors at the ends of the room amplify the perspective. The original fireplaces and moldings have been preserved, with subtle restorations in some rooms. A large wooden table serves as the central focal point.
The elongated kitchen emphasizes depth with a custom mirror at the far end. The furnishings combine walnut and white, while a Zimbabwe granite countertop adds a raw, natural touch.
On the night side, the master bedroom features a custom-made, fabric-clad headboard with rounded lines, framed in walnut. The slightly curved room offers a direct view of the Parisian streets. The second bedroom, designed for the son, has a more structured style, with a Cuir au Carré headboard and backlit walnut niches.
The bathrooms are sleek and functional, clad in Marazzi tiles, with custom-made furniture and gunmetal-finish faucets by Horus.
