The use of vibrant colors, strict geometry, and lines are the key elements of the Monceau project.
The interior design project that revived this beautiful Haussmannian apartment is inspired by the iconic geometric paintings of Piet Mondrian. This artist revolutionized modern art by using simple shapes, straight lines, and colors. We adopted his artistic principles as a guiding thread to design an interior that reflects harmony and simplicity.
By using a joyful color palette, we created an interior that is both dynamic and welcoming. Linearity and rigor are repeated in every room, from the entrance with the stained glass window, the living room bookshelves with natural materials (stone and wood), the fine lines in the bathroom with the Kitkat mosaic and planed wood, to the headboard with its beautiful textured fabric.
The selected furniture and decor balance the rigor with rounded shapes that envelop and soften the apartment.
